Fackbook password reset scam!

Watch your emails closely!  An email came to me today saying this:

“Dear user of facebook,

Because of the measures taken to provide safety to our clients, your password has been changed.
You can find your new password in attached document.

Thanks,
Your Facebook.”

This seemed very fishy to me.  Just for fun since I was on a Mac I downloaded the attachment to find a nasty .exe file.  No telling what damage this thing was ment to do.  Trust me, you probably don’t want to find out.

Like most company’s out there, I don’t think Facebook is going to change my password and then email me about it.  They definitely aren’t going to send it in a nice .zip attachment.

Don’t fall for this and risk inviting in a computer virus.
